Difference between ECN and STP

I traded at Fxopen on ECN and STP accounts. I liked the execution of orders on the ECN account, where it seems to me to be better. Although in fact the difference between these two types of accounts lies in commission payments.

ECN (Electronic Communication Network) brokers provide direct market access with deeper liquidity and tighter spreads, matching buy and sell orders from various participants. STP (Straight Through Processing) brokers execute orders directly with liquidity providers, offering faster execution but potentially wider spreads. Both aim for transparency and efficiency.
