Getbhav copy not working .

There is something problem with Getbhav copy. I could not download EOD Cash & Future data since 4 th March.The problem still persists.Can anybody throw light on it?

NSENIFTY changed to CNXNIFTY......,..until hemen corrects software , nothing we can do...

That is why Open Source applications are always preferred because its not dependent on single person.Have this been open source application somebody definately would have rectified by now.

hakija can be used but nifty spot , we have to wait for new update.

Not that , every downloader have this problem.

this problem is created as NSE has changed the name S&P CNX NIFTY to CNXNIFTY and this url is hardcoded in all the downloader. till the respective coder changes the url, this problem exist.

only feasible option - is to use Subha Laabh Downloader - as it downloads the actual pr.zip file from the official site and the proper naming convention is used and the data is available for NSE Nifty spot

but in shubhadownloader , the new ticker is cnxnifty as name changed , so only 3-4 candles of nifty . how to merge these candles with old nsenifty , so that nifty can be seen in continuation...

I think the name should be changed in Ami itself from NSENifty to CNXNifty.

simple solution

from now onwards we will be used to this name i.e., CNX NIFTY.
so to get a continuous chart of nifty spot we will have to merge NSENIFTY to CNXNIFTY

(b4 doing that pls pls save/backup ur database)

the data downloader of joy can be set to download cnxnifty.
have to delete the s&p in the indices notepad and save. i think subrato can catch it.
but datadownloader of joy(volumedigger.com) not working in window 7.
any one know is it working in window 7.
