Well “mnjain” there are many insurance companies those provide family health plans. It is completely depends on you which one suits your needs & budget best. Every family has its own health situations and accordingly you need to pay premium for same, like you mentioned your father & mother are healthy enough having no health issues then there is no problem at all. But if they have any health issues then you need to buy higher plans so that those diseases get covered in it. When you buy health insurance and your parents are aged, they need to go through health checkups.

As far as my knowledge is concerned you, your wife, and children don’t need medical checkup for buying health insurance. But when it comes to your father & mother they will need to go through a medical checkup because of their age. If they don’t have any health related issues then you don’t need to worry. If they have any health issues then you might need to pay a slightly high premium. If you want you can check with Future Generali's health insurance policy, I personally have same and it is affordable.
