Hi Guys,

Today I started trading in indian share market. I was doing paper trading for past 2 months.
While doing paper trading I used calculator from zerodha to know my profit loss.

Today while trading I find there is huge difference in profit loss from zerodha calculator and live platform.

Look at the Airtel stock floating P/L and calculator.

nearly rs.65 difference

Can anyone let me know why there is difference, it is affecting my strategy which i practiced for past 2 months.

Check ur contract notes tonight. It seems u did multiple orders of bhartiairtel.
1st order might be in loss and other might be in profit, thats why u r seeing less profit.
In ur image of kite, brokerage and taxes will not be included to show p/l.

Thanks for your reply Vijay.

I entered 80 shares at a time, but before this trade I had couple of buys and closed the trade in loss.

under "Trades" it is showing that I had entered 80 shares at 300.7 . Still not sure of the calculation, have to learn that.

I think it is that since you did multiple order or trades of airtel. If you don't mind can you list them? Airtel trades for the day. If you only did one order and bought 80 shares then the calculation is wrong.
