#1
Hi ,

I am new to this community , so first of all Hi to everyone. I am an NRI in the UK and keen on investing in indian mutual funds . But not sure of it the right time considering the sensex is already at 17.5K level. So please guide me .

Also if its right time , where should i invest for a 5 year horizon . I selected a few like Franklin India Blue chip , ICICI Pru focussed Equity. Please guide and also if there is any better fund or better investment idea

Many Thanks,
ARM

The unambiguous answer to the above questions is YES....Indian markets will give good appreciation in next 4-5 years and we must invest without any delay.I have been buying all dips in the market and I have bought stocks as well as 5 mutual funds...3 are large cap equity funds, one is small/medium cap fund and one is ELSS fund.If you believe in India story, you must invest in its stocks and mutual funds.

Bro,

No need to wait for a crash to get a lower NAV. MF low NAV doen't mean that you are getting a cheap value, only more units you get. The final figure tallies in both cases, high NAV vs low NAV. It's the investment pattern matters >>>> SIP. I'll go for a best performer which gives a lower expense ratio.

What I read and understood :

How does mutual fund NAV affect performance of a fund?/

Lower NAV Means Better Investment in Mutual Fund?

Is Low NAV Cheap?
