Is using these two data feeds legal?

Hello friends,

This is my first post on the forum.

I was searching for live data feed from NSE that I can use for my personal use.

I am not aiming at building any software and website, but developing a single page PHP script for personal use.

While browsing with my requirements on this forum, I came up with following two data feeds

1) http://www.nseindia.com/TickerFeed?userid=&tickerid=&type=CM

2) http://nseindia.com//marketinfo/equities/ajaxGetQuote.jsp?symbol=twl&series=EQ


My question:

1) Can we use these data feed for personal use?
2) Is this legal?
3) Do we have to pay some money to NSE for using this feeds? if yes then how much?

Hi NaviBuster,

What you are referring is not a live feed. Its mere delayed data from an authentic source.

I think you will not be building a streaming quotes system, but a on-demand quote which is fetched from NSE's server.

Go ahead and use them.

How can you say that the data from these feeds are delayed? and by how many minutes they are delayed?

Is there way to find out if they are delayed?

If you have a streaming quotes software from your broker, you can compare with it. It is delayed by 30 sec or so.
