MCX Order at Open not Considered???

Hii friends,

Today MCX crude oil opened at 6387 and made a High at opening minute as 6450.

I had put an AMO(After market order) for BUY at 6428 from Zerodha NEST terminal which got active at open itself.

Can we figure out why my BUY order was simply not considered when I was ready to buy at a lot higher price than the open?

An AMO order takes a few seconds to be actually sent to the exchange after the market opens. It can take from 3 to 20 seconds.

Check the value of your Exchange Entry / Update Time columns in the Order Book.
