Question on lower and upper circuits

Hey guys. I am new to trading. Please bear with me if my questions are too elementary. I just bought opto circuits nse shares intraday. While buying hdfcsec dint allow me saying price is outside the circuit limit. I checked and the lower circuit was 18.70 so i bought it for 18.80 but now the price has gone down to 18.20. Why this happened? My 1st trade is a loss

The Rs.18.20 quote may be from BSE. Pl verify

thx for your reply. I checked the lower and upper cut offs from the get quote section of the hdfcsec while buying the stocks. I am darn sure it breached the lower circuit
