Hi all seniors ,

Hi i am venkatesh I am a new trader.for the past 4 months i am using equity trading, in that somewhat successful also.

i want to know about future trading i have read the nse material regarding that but still i had some doubts

1.How can I do intraday in future from that material what i understand is future is hedging, its a agreement to buy or sell in future at some price if that mean how can i do intraday trading .

2.How can i fix stop loss in that coz it says you have to give the assurance that you will buy or sell whatever price in that future date

3.how can i continue my winning position in future

please help me seniors

Futures are contracts which have expiry dates. You can buy/sell and sell/buy the future any day during market hours before the expiry date. That means you can buy and also sell the future in the same day (intraday) and if you want to carry it for few days, you can do so. And this can be done before the expiry of the future.

2.How can i fix stop loss in that coz it says you have to give the assurance that you will buy or sell whatever price in that future date

You can fix the stop loss for futures as you do with stocks.

3.how can i continue my winning position in future

If you have a winning position, you will have to square it off before the expiry of the future and buy/sell your winning position for the further dated expiry.

P.S. I am not a senior in this forum. Just sharing my understanding..
