I have 1000 RPL stocks..whether to keep it or shed off?i heard a news from online forums that merrily lynch has asked its investors to switch from RPL to RIL since they are planning to merge RPL to RIL in the 12:1 ratio.Whether this information worth considering...Please give me valuable your piece of advice..or is this strategy to shed off the RPL stocks from the investors?

The merger, if it happens, is likely only in 2009. So I am holding on to my RPL stocks and add some RIL stock too to my portfolio
