I am using SBICAPSEC. According to https://www.sbicapsec.com/trading/faqs.html#trading SBICAPSEC brokerage rates are as -
"What are the brokerage rates applicable on my trades? CASH - The Brokerage rate is 0.50%* * Or Minimum 5 paise per share whichever is higher"
Now I have purchased three securities A, B & C in delivery mode and received account statement which is as follows -
Security Purchased = A
Quantity = 500
Gross Rate Per Security = 81.25
Total = 40625
Brokerage Total = 205.00
Security Purchased = B
Quantity = 500
Gross Rate Per Security = 74.42
Total = 37210
Brokerage Total = 185.00
Security Purchased = C
Quantity = 1000
Gross Rate Per Security = 18.95
Total = 18950
Brokerage Total = 90.00
Now brokerage total @ 0.5% in A, B & C should be 203.125, 186.05 and 94.75 respectively, while they have calculated as 205, 185 & 90 respectively.
Can you please suggest SBICAPSEC approach of brokerage rate calculation?
