savant ji.

two doubts.

1. stoploss - why 18? the ATR(14) of 15 min. is around 25, and ATR (69 - last three days) is around 20.

2. will it be correct to go long above 09.55- 10.00 bar, a bullish bar, which pierced the lower band?

Hi Prasad,

For Today Keep A Trailing S/L Of 18 Points

Happy & Safer Trading

Prasad,

Was Calculating The ATR Mentally, Last 3 Days Is Correct.

If Bottom BB Is Pierced Then Immediately Check On The The 5 Min TF & If The Following Bar Is A Green Bar Then One Can Go Long Safely.

Prasad,
Just Saw Your Chart, Even On The 15 Min The Bar After Piercing Is Green Therefore It Is Quite Safe, If After Piercing The Following Bar Was Red Then You Could Have Shave Gone Short.

Also As I See On The Chart The Low Of 4th Bar From Last Can Also Be S/L

Since Priyank, Is New That Is Why I Suggested A Breakeven Point, That Way His Confidence Will Remain Intact & Moreover Days Such As Yesterday & Today Is Good For Priyank To Witness & Trade In Such Market Conditions.

Doc,

Break Even Would Mean Total Brokerage & Taxes (Impact Cost)

ATR Means Average True Range

SavantGarde

Captain What Is Mean By Break Even Is It Mean Same Value As Of 3625?
And What Is ATR?

Thanks.:)
