Hi,
I am watching metastock format data in Amibroker. However, the data is coming according to symbol. Is there any way through which the scrips will be sorted by name ?
Currently, I am seeing like :
100003
100004
100005
I want to see like this :
ABB
ACC
etc....
I hope I am clear.

Should be.
The symbol you mentioned is called ticker in Ami. The other one is call (Full)Name.
1. Click [Menu]->[Symbol]->[Find] OR F3.
Choose Ticker Or Name to sort whichever you want.
2. Your symbol list window should show both ticker and fullname, you can shift which column you want.
3. Click [Menu]->[Tools]->[Preferences..] then "Miscellaneous" Tab
Turn on the check button on
- add full name to ticker in ticker box
- add full name to ticker in tree
- full-name tooltips in symbol tree
Then you will see the name beside the ticker.
