95% of the population are mediocre and do not excel in their chosen professions.
This is applicable to all walks of life. Doctors, Engineers, Actors, Drivers, ...........
But in many areas people can conceal their mediocrity and pretend as experts.
In trading it is not possible. In fact in every other profession it is the same

nobody is born smarter or geek or nerd...how does a small baby learn ? if u see a small infant playing toys , u wil see dat it wil try 2 hold d toy several times befor it slips n falls of its hands.after several attempts, he wud LEARN 2 hold it firmly or take d case how a small infant LEARNS 2 walk before falling several times.
in d same way, v HAV 2 LEARN 2 b smarter.jst lying on a bed n hoping 2 get smarter wil nevr work unles v strive 2 become 1
jst see how those 5% traders became smarter n u wil notice d same procedure....making mistakes, falling down,getting up again n again n reaching d goals

Couldn't resist praising this thought even though the post is many months old. And it also reminded me of a statement by Stephen King I read somewhere:
" Talent is cheaper than table salt. What separates the talented individual from the successful one is a lot of hard work.”
