There cannot be a lag of more than 1 second. RTD collects OHLC for 1 second and sends it to Ami at the end of every second asynchronously. If there is more lag in your case, that is due to some other reason like CPU speed, RAM, not useing RAM disk etc.

If it is intraday real time feed, then nothing can be done. Intraday feed depends on your Broker's server, NSE and your bandwidth. If RTD is missing few ticks, that means you did not receive those ticks to your terminal from NSE/Broker's server. There are Members using Esignal and GDFL...

You will have to 'enable intraday and daily data in database settings-- intraday. Bhav Data is Bhavcopy that exchange releases. I has O H L and C for the day but no intraday data.

Feeding multiple databases simultaneously is not possible. why do you need that? Copy the database at EOD. Else change database at EOD and do backfill. You will have two databases.
