Hmm i get the point about getting stopped out and nifty finally going towards the aimed target .. But in this what i have started doing many a times now is that i do this small jobbing in btw my target with 25% or 50% of my buy quantity in simple terms partial profit booking and then covering...

True Sunil, Atleast for me ... the winning trade sets up my day... even today, after the 1st initial upmove, i was able to short @ top with stop of 15 points (i usually trade with 5-7 point stop) confidently as i already had 18 points in my back !!

I never said they were doing something out of the rules book, What i meant was that it is not accordance with nse Minimum requirement. If Brokers want, they can charge you 100% margin :P no rule regarding that, but the minimum is around 10-14% which is followed by many brokers too ...

At what price did you see the call ? And when you say selling 4100 costs you 30k, do mean brokerage wise or what ?

I never said if you buy Oct future and sell Nov Future, then you will have to maintain 3% margin or 1 time margin... You cannot have covered calls or Futures with different Expiry dates... (this is also as per Nse ...) See this might be true for FUTURES, but should not be thr for options...

Man talk about complicated !! Will have to go through all your Alterations to know more about this strategy ... Will do that in this weekend... Otherwise if you follow/ have any particular strategy that you follow here do tell so that other's can learn from it and maybe start doing it...
