i am having a demat account with reliance, if i purchase MF of reliance only via online , does it be counted as direct investment ... or how can i make direct investment by sitting online.

hello everybody.. some of my Fix deposit investment is getting encashed, and this time i want to invest in MF's. its around 250 k.. To play safe i have added 5 very gud performing funds in my portfolio for 80% investment.. and 20% in new funds .. RELIANCE regular saving fund(equity)= 50k...
