your effort is appreciated and we hope that returns from your system(OTP) in the future would be same as shown in backtested data,
i have given you few suggestions for improvement in earlier posts

note : Returns from backtested data for both nifty spot & future varies a lot based on kind of stoploss we input. that shows it would be very difficult to predict the returns in the future

Thanks. Agreed that the results for SPOT and Futures varies a lot. I am also modifying the OTP to take Futures data rather than SPOT data...

Raj, I meant returns varies a lot based on various stop loss input.

But when I tried the stoploss of 7 in the last 7 months from Jan-12, SPOT and Futures both give max profit at 7, even though the profit% varies by a huge percentage...

i am still paper trading using your system

As I told in many posts, right now for want of time, I am only trading in OTP in NIFTY Futures. I am yet to trade on Bank NIFTY Futures.

And I am happy with the result so far

I am trading using the OTP from 29-Jun-12 onwards

Long
4 profit making trades
12 loss making trades

Short
2 profit making trades
2 loss making trades

total 20 trades

After brokerage I have made around 120 points. I started with a capital of 1 lakh. I only trade 200 quantities because I want my risk capital to be less than 2%. On a given day, I will only loose Rs 1400-2000 ...

So profit so far is Rs ~24000.

its just 3 days of trading so far, made 40 points

will post the result of all paper trade at end of the month

want to discuss on ur OTP...
Want to trade OTP but I am finding it difficult in getting in the trades...
when free plz let me know so that I can put in my doubts...
