Raj,

Do you think FLOW Chart plays a critical role while taking a position because to me Pivot Lows and Highs in RENKO chart should be sufficient for taking any position. What are your thoughts for same?

Ideally FLOW Chart should tell you the exact time the pivot created. Renko gives only the date. But you can trade ONLY using Renko.

To give you some history behind this tool, When I developed the first version itself I wanted to develop this the FLOW Chart based on Pivots. It took me some one month to come up with the Implementation. Then during that weekend when I was going through the materials in the net, I came across the Renko charts... From a Beginner perspective I thought the Renko charts should be a simple and powerful tool. But since the pivots were derived from the FLOW chart, I kept both the versions. If you look at carefully the charts, the pivots are the same in both RENKO and FLOW. But I would prefer RENKO because of the lack of time. Time always adds pressure :)...

So Go with RENKO....

I think somebody in the forum was facing the same issue. This is due to the lack latest Service Pack for the Office. I am running with SP2 of Office and it works fine. But I hope the latest Service pack for 2007 is SP3. So check whether you have atleast SP2. If possible go for SP3.

You can download SP3 from the following link
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2526086

Whether you should have a paid version for the service pack?

Please do something with 2003 version.
Sholay... I am actually thinking of moving to Excel 2010 because the only software I love from Microsoft from the Good old days is Excel... Excel is a very good tool and they always keep coming wiht the good additional functionalities. the kind charts you are seeing in Excel, you will not see in any trading software also... But unfortunately Excel is not downward compatible. It should definitely be upward compatible.

Instead of asking me to shift to 2003, Why don't you try with 2010.

Noway I am going to downgrade myself to 2003 :):)

If it was a small size I could haveuplaoded the SP2 also...

But a lot traders have told me that it works in 2003. Anybody using 2003 can you provide the details on what configuration you have done in 2003...

Is 2010 stable ? Is there a final release or something ??
I have developed this using 2007 SP2. So I am assuming that it should work in 2007 SP2 and higher. I have not tested in 2010. People using 2010 can confirm that.

Yes I will upload the Version 2.2 by today or this weekend... The fix is mainly for some delayed refresh because the last 10 minute data was always coming late and some minor fixes where the date was not properly displayed.
