Hi,

Please check your internet connection. Hope you must be working in some restricted environment like office. Sholay one of the other member in this thread had a similar problem and he told that it was due to some internet restrictions in office. Also make sure that you do the macro settings and data connection settings as given in post number 839.

All the best
Dear Sir, I am on unrestricted internet connection. May be previous files got corrupted, so downloaded all version mentioned in thread. All are working fine. Only nifty target are not changing(stuck on 5457). Is it meant to change like banknifty or not or nifty point stuck where it is showing same value.

Raj,

For Swing Trade the flow documentation is enough it covers most of probable areas while trading

For Intra-day automated system

Clear entry guidelines
Clear Stop Loss Guidelines
Clear Target Guidelines

Instead of buy above 5212 it needed to have buy @ 5212 sl 5195 Target 5249 etc

though it is very difficult to do in excel it is easily Possible to write an afl in amibroker.

another thing what I am expecting is track record of all calls

in amibroker one can visualize past data and check the system before initiating the trade

Frankly up to this Point I could not able to collect clearcut rules from this thread. I think you also developing the same as you have done charting part now you may include some strategies like flow.

one more thing to be needed while developing automated system there should be clear formula to identify the conditions (For example it is very difficult to identify visual pivots problematically )

this is what i expecting from an automated system

IMO if one system gives only levels then success and failure will based on one's knowledge and observations

Saravanan,

I had purposefullt not given the Automatic BUY@ because that way people would not take their own decisions. In case the stock/index is in a range and forming a flag or breakout it would be actually generate a wrong call. In the BETA 2 version I had given that option, but then people blaming the tool... But there I had used the Options chain method. Let me try and give the automated calls with Targets and Stoploss.... But I would suggest people to still look at the charts and take the call...

hi,

In version 2.3 there is no automatic call. you have to take a decision based on the BUY / SELL levels and put your own call. Probably what you are seeing in the tool is some old call which came with the tool.

For example today BANKNIFTY Showed the BUY ABOVE at 10036 and SELL BELOW 10007.
The lon was triggered above 10036 and in terms of Future (Perimum of around 35) you would have bought around 10070.

So in the cell E29 - you will change it to "STAY LONG" and in cell F29 you will enter 10070.... Then the Cells G29, H29 and I29 will show you the Targets and stoploss.... G30, H30 and I30 will give you the status of the calls. As i type the target 1 might have already met...

Raj,

Giving Automatic call isvery simple.
1. Find the current Trend
2. Let us say it is "STAY LONG".
3. Take the Low of the Day as Stop loss...
4. Add .20% to get the Buy level
5. Targets set according to your risk

For example if I take BANKNIFTY Futures....

Todays's Low is 10059 - Which will act as the stoploss
Buy at would be 10080 -
Target 1 would be 10130 (50 points from Buy level) 50% booking
Target 2 would be 10181....

The only problem with this method is that There should also be pivot at 10080 so that we can proceed with the call...

Raj,
Today Low is 10027 in future (10006 spot)

I am also facing some mismatch with your excel chart with my ami chart look picture

I using Spot Chart
Same Mismatch happening in future also

I think it is data problem.
But last price is Matching exactly

Saravanan,

You are right... It was an oversight. Instead of Low I took the Opening price.... So for the above call, it would be

Buy at : 10049
Stoploss: 10028
Target 1 : 10099
Target 2: 10149

Raj,

In case of google, what i am observing is that the data might not come in first go and you might need to hit refresh again and again. For e.g in case of below URL, which is providing current day data in interval of 10 min,if you just copy URL in IE and keep on hitting refresh the dynamics of data provided is not acurate.Sometime you will get more rows and again sometime you will get less rows. For e.g,from 09:20 to say 15:30,there should be 39 rows. Now when you keep on pressing refresh button, count will vary.Sometimes its 35,36 and 39 rows. Are you also facing similar issues or its just my office network/internet which is causing such a delay or its related to cookies/caching not sure.

http://www.google.com/finance/getprices?q=NIFTY&x=NSE&i=600&f=d,o,h,l,c,v&p=1d

Can you throw some light on such behaviour of google please. Why i am doing this in browser is because i just wanted to check integrity and accuracy of data getting from google.

Prabhsingh,

Yes you are right. I think I had also highligghted this problem in one of the post. And that is the reason why I have put some retry logic. So it would retry for 5 times and even if 5 time failed, we would not get the right data... that is the problem with the free data.
