Hi Sudoku,

Can you let me know how exactly the pricess of Petrol,LPG Gas and Diesel are obtained from the Crude price.Currently crude is at $142
Let me know if the below thing is right?

The Global oil prices are at 142 dolars per barrel..

so taking 142 dollars cost of 1 barrell is 142*43(Rate of dollar now) that costs 6106...with 1 barrel equivalent to 159 lites the cost of 1 litres comes arnd 38...

so 38 Rs per litre for crude....

Considerin the transportaion,refining cost ,profits of PSU and other things...which shld not cost morethan 8 Rs per litre...let us consider it as 15...

so the price is Rs 53

My aim is to find out how much subsidy is govt giving in petrol,diesel ,kerosene and lpg

SP came to save ship but one thing very clear this goverment will face bumps in every month..........so many tiny tiny patires will and can give lots of headache to upa front....
