Applying MACD 12,26,9 to SENSEX, it shows signs of going down within the next 2 sessions
But MACD with 3,10,16 values shows signs that it has already started going down.

I am kind of novice to technicals, so plz forgive and correct any mistake made.

between 10-9.08 & 11-09-08.....a falling unfilled gap was created by the sensex betwn 14610 & 14557.....
the UPA led victory filled this gap !!!!!

ur obeservation may b right....but punting on anticipation can b dangerous.....always wait for a confirmation for the change in the original trend....
i.e .wait for a support 2 b broken.
bcoz in a panic up or downtrend , the divergence takes a long time 2 transform with a change in the original trend

Yes, I too observed that EMA(I used 13 and 30) can tell us about trend reversal in long/intermediate term, not in short term. So I will look into supports and resistance.
I am still learing on drawing the trend line and support line. Funny enough, I always forget that there can be more than one trend lines and support lines in the same time frame.
