Nifty ...

Todays close will always be 2morrows open .. no gaps on Nifty.
Nifty futures does not have this prob, only Nifty Spot.
So no Gaps and the chart changes ... drastically ...

Therefore ppl tend to follow sensex ...

I am not much knowledgable on the effects and/or side-effects, maybe Sudoku, AW, ST or SG can elaborate on this ....

gaps r also an imp aspect when it comes 2TA....THOUGH NIFTY HAS HIGHER VOLMS THAN SENSEX....they do not cosider the imp of TA looking at the error they create for even a fresher TA aspirer...
so there is only sensex left 2 track the ind mkt.

Say Thanks to Sudoku that its too deep... otherwise Titanic will sink tomorrow Read through the initial posts and how these values are derived. Slowly slowly vveeryyy sloowly both Sensex's close and Sudoku's level will come closer... like the actors from the classic movies running towards each other and the day it can be safely assumed that there are ice bergs ahead or may be a rocky mountain.
