Traders seem 2 b edgy & this air of caution is reflected in the low turnover.... especially in the derivatives segment.
The series of 1 -tive monthly close followed by a +tive monthly close has been continued with Sensex ending 6 % higher in Nov.
Open interest has once again crossed Rs 1-lakh-crore mark with puts outnumbering calls..... The 10-week ROC has been moving just above the 0 line & the 14-week ROC has been hovering between 55 & 70 since Aug implying that though the bias has been +tive, the benchmark has been in a corrective mode over the past 3 months !!!

Though the Sensex crossed above the key Fibo retracement resistance of 16,200 2 months ago, the BSE 500 has only just reached this level at 6,700. It needs 2 be seen if the broader index is able 2 climb above this significant hurdle.....

The mid- & small-cap stocks r still under-performing their large-cap peers. While the BSE Midcap index has retraced only 50 % of last year's decline ...small-cap index has retraced only 43 %.

it would not had been so rash....but v have a peculiar situation where another ship (bear) is following the bulls....now how the bulls handle the situation will b crucial.....the abv 2 levels leave the waves open for both the camp 2 decide the winner !
