Just before the credit policy announcement, expectations were high on the Street that any rise in repo or reverse repo rates was going 2 signal an end 2 the easy money policy. But .....the RBI did not change these rates, which means v r not likely 2 see any rise in interest rates any time soon. However, with higher than expected increase in the CRR, the central bank is trying 2 ensure that the banks which have been witnessing low credit offtake do not go on a lending spree as it can lead 2 even higher inflation. As far as banks r concerned, there is going 2 b a marginal negative impact on their margins, but at the same time, the CRR hike is not going 2 have any major effect on the economic recovery......;)




A genuine leader is not a searcher for consensus but.... a molder of consensus.;)

The overall mood in the market for the next couple of weeks is likely 2 b bearish till 16685 is not taken out... Every time the mkt makes an attempt 2 move upward, v r likely 2 see selling pressure — by both institutional investors as well as short-term traders..... Also, the formation of a lower top is going 2 make things worse for the bulls over the next couple of sessions......



Having rules & dicipline helps a trader set specific goals about the process of trading, rather than about the outcome.;)

Coming 2 news flow from the developed markets, the macro-economic picture continues 2 improve, but equities r still witnessing a downward pressure.... This indicates that political statements r once again creating uncertainty in the minds of investors. This has led 2 the postponement of buying by those investors who r sitting on cash. Till the time this situation continues, v r unlikely 2 see any sharp upward movement in the indices.......


Action is the foundational key 2 all success !!!

watch out for levels @5000 or abv....failing 2 sustain may see a bout of unwinding of longs....where as suataining consistently below 4900 may increase pressure on the downside;)
