Hi Soumya,

I'm new to metastock and was searching for the historical data. Your latest database link for metastock contains data till 24/7/09. Could you please update this too. It will be very helpful to me. Otherwise I need to modify manually 3 months of data.

but i am unable to successfully import the data into amibroker.

is there a s/w or step-by-step process in any of the other posts.

Hi All,

Any body have NSE historical data in metastock format. If anybody have, can you please upload in rapidshare or somewhere. Actually the previous set given by Soumya have data till july. If would be very helpful to me if there is any dataset containing new data as well like that of october.

Hi Somaya,
I have downloaded the DB for Amibroker. But when i use it some probs are coming as:
1. Not all tickers are showing in ticker window.
2. Charts are not showing for NSE, BSE and Future ( error says less no of datas) even though is has datas for months.
3.Charts are showing only for some tickers of "-" subfolter.

I have done lot of trial and error but cod not know the real problem.

(My personal data which are not in ami directory working well but your data in working no matter where i put the DB in Ami or some other place.)}

Give or shed LIGHT on it.

At last problem is solved.
What I did is upgrad my Amibroker5.20 to Amibroker 5.30, now everything is fine and working.
Now what I understand is: Ami 5.30 changes the data file format and i think Somaya's databse is also created with Ami 5.30 ( or higher version than Ami5.20) which is not compatibe with Ami 5.20 (atleast).
SO I advice all new users who download this databse must ensure that they are using it with Ami 5.30 and it will work perfectly.
