Again a bad day, exited a god trade early and after that watched Nifty only falling more. Did 3 trades today, 2 in loss and 1 in profit.

Net gain for the day = +23 points

This is becoming my 1st priority to work on exit rules. :annoyed:

I urge you to go through the 'words of wisdom' thread thoroughly. It will put a lot of things in perspective for you. Also, before you do decide to take the plunge, ensure that you have 3 things

a) A career to fall back on just in case (atleast a qualification) - Taiki would probably disagree
b) Enough funds to take care of basic expenses for 6-8 months
c) Family buy-in (most important in my books)

I will surely agree with all your points bro

To me, it is the path for which i fought with everything else and sacrificed everything else, So just in case things wont work out, i will take the opportunity to learn from my mistakes and come back strongly.

I have heard a quote from some one (don't remember where) - "Cant quit, Not Dead". Dream, Dare and Win

EOD Summary for 31st July

A bad day, Did two trades and lost 12 points. I had picked up the bottom early when NF made the low at 5715. But failed at execution of the plans and made losses.

Net loss for the day = 12 points + Brokerage

So trade wise ended the July month at breakeven, but could not recovered the loss due to fixed brokerage of TSO unlimited plan. Last 2 months have been breakeven, hoping for a turnaround of the things in August.

In unlimited plan it is 1899 per month + tax.
My breakeven in Nifty fut is 1.14 points.

I have decided from this month onwards i will post my trade preparation, planning, necessary charts, and post market analysis here. It is for forcing me to be more disciplined, to work in more organized way and I think in course of time this will help me to execute my plan strictly without putting 100s of ifs and buts during market hour and trade setup.

Additionally, at the end of the day I can back check what was my plan and where I failed or what I did to succeed.
