"If you go to work on your goals, your goals will go to work on you. If you go to work on your plan, your plan will go to work on you. Whatever good things we build end up building us." — Jim Rohn

Avoid head trash. Do not be a garbage can for anything that does not feed your intellect, stimulate your imagination, or make you a more compassionate peaceful person. Refuse to open your mind to other people's trash. Tune out anything that promotes conflict. This can infect you with a mind virus of cynicism or defeat and you will not even know it!

Be deliberate about setting up your day to win. Whatever you feed your mind in the first 30 minutes of the day, will impact the spirit of your day. Saturate yourself with positive words that fuel your energy and ignite your spirit. Your thoughts create your reality. Create an extraordinary life! You have GREATNESS within you!

Focus your energy on the things that really matter! There will always be distractions that will keep you from achieving your goals. Do not give in to them. How have you increased your skills, knowledge, abilities, or income in the past 90 days? Do you really expect to be successful given how you are using the majority of your time, resources and skills?

Are you spending time with people who can enhance and enrich your life? What are you doing to take your life to the next level? Will your current efforts make the next 90 days even more successful than you just experienced? Be honest with your assessment. Do not play games with yourself. Remember ~ if you do not have an agenda for your life...you will be a part of someone else's agenda.

You don't need anyone's affection or approval in order to be good enough. When someone rejects or abandons or judges you, it isn't actually about you. It's about them and their own insecurities, limitations, and needs, and you don't have to internalize that. Your worth isn't contingent upon other people's acceptance of you — it's something inherent. You exist, and therefore, you matter. You're allowed to voice your thoughts and feelings. You're allowed to assert your needs and take up space. You're allowed to hold onto the truth that who you are is exactly enough. And you're allowed to remove anyone from your life who makes you feel otherwise. — Daniell Koepke

Two Ways to Deal with Boredom
http://www.traderplanet.com/articles/view/168957-2-ways-to-stop-making-boredom-trades/

Here are a couple of quick tips to counteract our tendency to become bored. One is very simple: take a break. Take periodic breaks throughout the day. It’s basic, but many traders forget this.

Every hour, take five or ten minutes off, and when you do this, don’t sit there and start surfing the Internet. Get away from your trading desk. Go off and take a walk, get a snack, or do a little exercise. Do something different, and preferably something physical. It gives you that mental break so that when you come back to the trading desk, you’re refreshed.

The second tip—and, a very important one—is to begin to become aware of what’s going on between the ears. Start recognizing the stories the mind is telling us.

When we start looking for trades or when we start checking our favorite websites because we’re bored, recognize that for what it is: the mind demanding you change reality and give it more stimulation. Then ask yourself, “Is this really helpful to my trading?” You are now in a position to make the right choice.

Awareness of what the mind tells us is an important mental skill in trading, and developing it something we all need to focus on. You can easily access several free resources at the author’s website that can help you do develop mindful awareness and other mental skills important for your trading.

Failure is not a destination. It is an invitation to unforeseen victories. Someone once said that a person who has never failed, has never done anything. Make failure your vitamin. When you fall, especially when it hurts, be willing to pick yourself up, dust yourself off and get back in the game. You are not competing against anyone, not even yourself. Life is not a sprint; it is a marathon. Are you in it to win it?

Reject your fears. Fear is just an emotion, nothing more. It can not hurt you, but it can stop you from achieving your goals if you let it. Face your fears head on, instead. Embrace each moment that you feel you “blew it.” Remember, it is just a memory. The past only exists in your mind. You have the absolute power to release it. There is a fundamental difference between failure and temporary defeat. Be willing to fail your way to success! You have not failed. You have merely graduated into a brand new opportunity to manifest the Greatness within you!
