BTW I found a term "bad delivery". Can anybody explain it to me.

if u wana trade...technical is only mean by which u can do.

read this book...JOHN J.MURPHY...Technical Analysis of the financial markets.

This book is a must for any begginer.

It was really a mixed feeling to read through the whole thread from the past 1 week or so..

Thanks TFL gsalvadi and others who have contributed really good initially, but after a while, say from 2yrs or so the guiding has stopped or simply rendered incomplete... please do complete it, also there are a lots of unwanted postings which are just thanking posts, which are not materialistic for the subject.. can there be some post or re-posting to put it in line without these larger breaks which are really boring & eventually makes the person to loose interest.. I am stubborn in these matters & hence decided to completely read the entire posts in this thread as I want to trade full time, but have very less money to start with.. I had contacted many brokers & finally decided to start with RK Brokers as I feel it I can afford those brokerage & other charges.

I am newbie in the world of trading and have been going thru the contents on this site for more than a month now(whenever I find time after my office work). Can someone pls answer the 2 basic questions(or tell me where to find answers for the same):

-How to make out if markets are in range or trending?
-How to choose stocks to trade? do we look only for volumes being traded of a particular stock? or some other factors are also there?
