I am about to take investbulls real-time data feed for amibroker, will I be able to create candlestick of my preferred time frame? Say 4 hour and 2 hour candles?

Also will i be able to customize it to close at proper even time like, 10.00 am, 12.00 pm, 2.00 pm for 2 hour candle?

Haven't used amibroker much at all, the answers will be appreciated

Go to amibroker tools>>preference>>intraday setting and feed your needed time apply ok you are done:thumb:

But what about closing time of candles?

I am asking because in most mt4 based charting data closing time of candles were odd very odd. Like for 1 hour candle, 12.45 pm, 1.45pm and so on, however it should have been 1.00 pm, 2.00pm and so on, and it was not changeable at all :thumbdown:

hmm i think this may help you...
go to file>>data base setting>>intraday setting>>change the start time as 9.00 ..

I did it,BTW at what time the eod candle is updated because it is 10.45 PM now but I don't see todays candle!! thanx again.BTW the local time means is it the indian or American local because the software and the co. i.e Ami.B. is American.

You are wrong. AmiBroker is not American but a European software vendor! Tomasz Janeczko who is the developer is citizen of Poland.
It is called Ami ... Broker because it first started on Amiga PC/OS in the nineties of last century or so!

What is your data feed and what is the base time interval of that feed? Are you using a 3rd party plug-in? Who is the vendor?

Yes very true and I when I picked it to check if it can be used for Indian Stocks its ver was 3.35 and after using it I found its very simple and flexible. But then there was data problem so i manually inserted and used and then with help of Tomez, very co-operative guy" got data from yahoo. Rest is history.

its strange that there is no option to plot 400 ema and 600 ema on price

infact anything above 300 ema not possible it seems

can anyone help ? there must be some way.

also i want to track nifty on multiple time frames , say 7 time frames , but as soon as change time frame of 1 chart all other time frames are also changed on all sheets.................i am so new to amibroker , please guide
