Sir,
There is another software for technical analysis which is just simple and free - though not advanced (and complicated as well) as Amibroker or Fibotrader and any such ones. I fee JStock has all the basic requirements including basic scanning. It works with both NSE and BSE. It has Alert function also, and more than that you find live updates. Further, it synchronizes with Android version (for sync you need to purchase the mobile version). The desktop version is completely free. After all, it is the man behind the scalpel who is important.

You may use JStock on Linux also.

Does JStock work intraday also or meant only for EOD.
What about data. Do we have to feed data from our side if working intraday or even otherwise for EOD charts.

I am new to Amibroker ... recently installed it on my PC (OS is XP) and also on my Laptop (OS is Windows7) ......I tried to import data (downloaded from getbhavcopy utility) ...... it works perfectly well on my PC with XP system but it is not being imported in Amibroker on my Laptop with system Windows7.

Experts please advise

The import data feature is not dependent on OS. To isolate the problem, try import using "Log errors" option selected in the "Define fields" screen of ASCII import wizard and see any errors are generated.

Bollinger Band in Amibroker is displayed in separate window below

Bollinger Band in Amibroker is displayed in separate window below.

How do I edit the AFL so that Bollinger band is made around the price-Candles instead of separate window below as it is in chartnexus chart as compared to Amibroker.

You already have BB on your Amibroker price chart. The bottom separate BB windows are because, instead of drag and drop BB on to price chart, you double clicked. If you want any averages, bands or indicators on a particular chart, instead of double click, drag and drop the desired one.

Hi, all,

I am currently using GCI MT4 DEMO for watching...and default 10 stocks available...but price will vary to real time..that not big issue for me..

I want more stock to watch for price action in real time...Amibroker will work?
