For eg. We create a database "1" in amibroker and download NSE:ACC from amiquote "google intraday ". It saves two files i.e 1st in amiquote download and the 2nd in Folder 1/n/NSE:ACC . I then Create another database "2" . Now I want to copy NSE:ACC from 1st to 2nd . Simply copy pasting is not working , The file type is showing "file" . Its not even ASCII. How can I import this ..

some people may seem this to be foolishness . LOL :D . But its not , I am doing this because Nifty has some shares like rolta, erosmedia etc. which are illiquid most of the time but is "DAY TRADABLE" and I want the data only for 1 day , Probably on some news day for example.
Need Help If you understood my problem :)

PS: NSE:ACC is just an example.

If you want to copy the symbol's data file (binary file) from one DB to another then your first have to create the symbol in the 2nd DB within AB in the symbol box of toolbar (type the symbol name and hit enter). In short the symbol has to exist before your can copy such data files from one DB to another (and AB better has to be closed before copy&pasting).

So then you close AB and copy&paste the file from 1st DB's sub-folder i.e. from sub-folder "n" (if symbol name starts by letter "n") to the same sub-folder of 2nd DB having same name "n" and overwrite existing file there.

Understood? No? OK.

Hi friends,
Can any one tell me how to change/replace an AFL by another AFL on the same chart cause once an AFL is put on price chart I dont find any option to replace it ,Pl help.

I would suggest getting live data feed for a great software like amibroker.
There are many authorized data vendors in the market that you can reach out to. Will vost you a little more than the unauthorized guys but it is worth the clean data feed
One such authorized data vendors are '1Marketview'. They also have a dedicated support team.
