equivolume can done through Kite Charts of Zerodha. as it is having option of plotting Volume candles.

Apart from tht in this Age of HFT and Alogs.. One needs to define What is "Complex Stretegy" and what are the simple ones.

There are people who find Pivot trading is Complex but OFA or for tht matter Renko Easy.

and even if those points are addressed, one should not Select for NT just for tht... NT is still bigger then this to the point tht Its full potential can't be used in Indian Trading and Investing environment. Specially the way NSE and SEBI are running things here.
NT is not only bigger, it is also expensive for average trading community and sometimes arrogant too.

OMG! This happens when amateurs are talking on the internet. There is nothing tied to time. It just shows your lack of knowledge.

Similar goes for bid and ask data storage.

BTW, here is one prime example why no professional institution would ever use a software like Ninjatrader for serious trading. http://www.trade-robots.com/blog/ninjatrader-so-good-that-backtest-results-are-random
trash

That was extremely good article on backtest results. I have experienced the same behaviour in Amibroker too. Same strategy, same database, one year one minute IEOD data. Data is stale (it is old data from Jan 2015 to Jan 2016)

To be 100% sure that data is same on both machines, I had uploaded the
csv files on one machine and then zip-copied entire database folder on other machine. Even when data range is set to to All quotes, it chooses different starting date on different machine. Even though data is actually from Jan 2015, on both machines, it starts showing results from August 2015. If I run backtest with date range from Jan 2015 to Aug 2015, trades will show up.

The problem with ami is that they have tied their x-axis with time due to which complex strategies which are independent of time cant be handled properly with amibroker.

this above is a serious lack in ami. when I asked Tomaz about why there is no proper tick based plots still not possible in amibroker, he told me to use range charts instead of kagi renk pnf and 3 line break etc. also not able to record bid-ask data is a serious lack. if you ask him anything which he is not able to implement, he just gets arrogant in his replies.

this is only my personal view.

Their is no point which is best or whatever...
If you are comfortable with software then use that only.
Everyone has different requirement.

One feature which i would like to see in amibroker is sync corsshair around same ticker chart

Amibroker can store bid-ask data. This was adequately discussed in my thread.

What Sir, I am a newbie not you that you would need to ask about Order Flow Analysis ;)
I may not be a newbie in ami and ninja relative to you but that does not mean I know all ideas about analysis and certainly when people use acronyms, all bets are off.
