Analysis of charts - discussion share ur views

Hi Vishal,
I did all the above process..but not able to find proxy server and ip address and port... From where I can get this...?
I am having Airtel broadband and called those guys..they are sayin that they wont provide proxy ip and port...
what to do now?? I am stuck nw

after u install chart nexus then when u open it for the first time
1) go to file menu
2) user login
3)a new window pops up
4)click on network in that

and u need not enter any port address i think i have attched the screen short in the link ur settings have to be just the same

u need not enter any ip address or proxy number

if u want to have see ip adress u can go to
control panel,
network connection right click and select propeties

a new window opens select internet protocol under the box(configure)
and click on properties
u can see ur ip address

but i guess u dont require all dese to use chart nexus just make sure that ur settings are same as the screen shot in the link provided

hi everyone

i would like to share an observation in guppy multiple moving average (GMMA)

While watching thee gmma we mostly look at the stmma(red) and green crossover s for and check on whether the stmma is above or below the ltmaa to see the relationship beetween the short term and long term investors
what we neglect is the black line which is the 52 day closing price moving average it has it own relevance ill discuss about my observation on 52 week clossing price line in my later posts

Thebasic version what everyone follows is if we have the short term above the long term then we have a confirmed uptrend and vice versa

Closing in and intersection of two groups of MAs are considered as indicators of tend weakening and trend changes. .

So keep checking................................. on gmma hows it behaving if a short term is giving a crossover above the long term ma's or the ma's are showing divergence or they are closing in

the most important part how can we genrate signals of buy with gmma
if people are using any software where the GMMA can be apllied staright on top of the main chart

Buy signals are generated where the close is greater than the long term moving averages and have just crossed the short term moving averages.
As i dun have such facility im unable to post a chart but to better understand would post a chart orginnaly posted in traderji

Thanks..but I am having the same settings as u have posted in th given link. Also, I am not able to see the IP in Internet Protocol as you have mentioned... Do I need to get IP thru run > CMD > IPCONFIG
and watvr IP i will get in tht screen, I wil enter in Internt Protocol Window and same IP in Chartnexus network setting without PORT..

Can you please check how u have done in your system?? I am attachin the screenshot of all..

pls do check with ur ipadress through run cmd

and try putting ur port as 80 or 2000

and when u open the network the window has two other options of general and data

check the automatically download daily

and see if any port is available for me its 49 something

if still doesnt work then might be u need to talk wid the airtel people regarding ur connection or ip

Thanks for info...yea port is 80 in my IP settings under proxy setting but thr is no proxy ip address...already asked Aitel guys..they dont hv ny idea abt this...
Also, I am able to download 3yrs NSE and BSE data without login..<left side menu > listing > dropdown as has NSE and BSE > clicked and downloaded data>
but not able to login...I think to get the daily updated data..we need to login...dont knw..rite or wrong

have u registered with chart nexus
they send u a mail at ur mail id and u confirm the registartion
once done when u enter ur login passowrd it shud work

so do u have the eod data till 25 september now if yes then no need to worry after each trading day in the evening when u open chart nexus it automatically updates the nse and bse


i have data from oct 06 till date

if u type ur id passowrd and check the remeber passowrd button u need not login everyday

once u open t automatically updates every evening

hi everyone

i wanted to try making a simple strategy oN intraday trading using simple moving averages and adding 2 indicators to it

the system consists OF

5 min MA
10 min MA
20 min MA

AND ALSO AN EYE ON RSI AND MACD

WE FIRST SEE THE STATUS OF 5,10,20 MINUTE MA FOR SUMTIME

for going long we see that the 5 min is above the 10 min and the 10 min is above the 20 minute

for going short we see that 20 min is above the 10 min and 10 min is above the 5 min
we also look at the stoch %k and %d crossovers

RSI levels moving to overbought regions or moving towards oversold regions


okie how we do it ................................

as shown in the chart

as given in the chart below

1 ] 10:30 we had 5 min MA cross downward of 10 min MA + STOCH Crossover downward from 80 levels we take 50 % short positions

2] 11 am we have 5 min crossing 20 min downward and the 5 min being still below 10 min okie sooooo our short position criteria is fulfilled till 11 05 am
REMAINING 50% SHORT

3] now at 11:40 approx the 5 min crosses 10 min upwards so if we want We can choose a 25% exit or hold as movement is bearish from macd signals

4] we close 50 % when we have a 5 min upward crossover to 10 min 1:50 pm

5] we close remaining 50 % positon when we have a 10 min MA upward crossover 20 minute 2:10 pm approx

In the system DISCUSSED IN THE PREVIOUS POST we use the macd levels to see the trend say is is bullish or bearish

posting a chart of cnx it

when opened

1]5 min MA was already below 10 min MA 5 min gave a downward crossover 20 min MA showing strong shorting oppurtunity

we have to be in short positions till we get a 5 minute cross upward with 10 min MA close 50 % postions and then close the other 50% when the 10 minute crosses upward of 20 min MA

IN THE CHART BELOW WE CAN SEE THERE WERE LOTS OF CASES WHEN THE 5 MINUTE MA CROSSED 10 MIN MA UPWARD BUT WE DUN CLOSE AT THESE LEVELS ( IF WE ARE READY TO BE PATIENT ) COS SEEING THE MACD WE CAN SEE THE TREND IS REMAING BEARISH ( MOVING DOWN TO 0 AND BELOW 0 LEVELS)

AT 12 30 PM WE SHOULD SQUARE OFF AS PER THE CRITERIA BUT WHAT WE WATCH HERE IS WE CAN HOLD OUR POSITIONS TILL WE HAVE A COMPLETE MACD CROSS ABOVE 0 TO CONFIRM THE REVERSAL WE ALSO SEE HOW A DOJI WAS FORMED AT 12 30

WHAT I M TRYING TO MEAN IS THOUGH THERE WAS A 5 MIN TO 10 MIN TO 20 MIN UPWARD CROSSOVER WE DINT CLOSE OUR POSITIONS COS STILL THE MACD WAS BEARISH

IF ANY SUGGESTIONS ON THIS OBSERVATIONS PLEASE SHARE

IT WOULD HELP IN MAKING OF A STRONGER SYSTEM
