Hi vishal.

for a trader capital is precious. he should try to preserve it as much as possible. without proper money management a trader will not last long.

Even the best trading systems will have some losing trades and we should be prepared for such draw downs.

so, our first priority should be position sizing & risk management.

cheers.

HI PRASADAM

:) i liked that explanation but have to test it real time

and for scrips where ther is no bb piercing the 3 conditions what i gave in my setup would be enough to watch a next day trade

thnks for your advice it opened my mind more towards the whole setup

as of now money management i have not worked a lot on it

i rarely use any exposure given by my broking firm sometimes though i use 3 time exposure to the maximum
this way i exit early if my trade goes the other way and i enter the market only when i get a strong signal

thnks a Ton again

List of stocks would keep a track on 5th october based on this setup

aditya nuvo
alkalimetals
ispatindustries
kakatiyacements and sugars ltd
Hi Vishal,

I am studying a setup based on a single moving average and no other indicator (It is different from the one I have posted in "Stocks to Keep.... Chap II"). Based on the system I have posted ABIRLANUVO to be kept in Watchlist. see this post:

http://www.traderji.com/equities/29292-stocks-keep-close-eye-chapter-ii-37.html#post368069

I do not have KAKATCEM, ALKALI, ISPATIND in my list which I am studying. After seeing your list I just checked those charts also. The charts with my system also show break out clearly (They are above the Green Line). Your analysis also validates my observation and gives more confidence to me to study it further. The charts are given below:

Thanks for your post.

Hi Vishal,

Yes, PIDILITIND also has broken out.

The Green line in the chart is not an MA. Both the green and red lines are calculated from the MA. That is why they are straight lines. Actually, close above the red line itself is a signal for break out, but some more observations are needed to confirm it. If this is confirmed then the break out can be identified at least one more day earlier. As the system is under development, no details have been worked out and no rules formulated yet. Only manual chart inspection and noting down the conclusions.
