as told the password worked the next day..

Have to trade via angel trade. And i am not used to it.just trying to understand the basics and how to make portfolio on it.

Also unable to understand sell shares which i got in ipo like 199 of coal india and now 87 of power grid which i want to clear at 100 mark.

I really dont find it that easy as hdfc.

Also the rtgs stuff they mailed me to give cancelled cheque again at branch..

I am like shocked that i already told i dont want to make visit to their stupid branch and again they saying same to be done.

I saw clearly and found that i made mistake in email id as it was rtgs.registration@angeltrade rather than registra.....etc etc.

As i am busy this day hardly gets 5-10 mins time to check or trade.

Ill update you people as i get more details.

Just want to understand it urgently how to sell shares which i hold in my account(portfolio).

As per your query, kindly note that any debit in Angel beneficiary account except payout of shares (e.g payin, transfer to F&O collateral) will be charged Rs. 11/ ISIN including service tax.

on the ledger it is always + service tax

I have few queries on Angel.

1) Is their terminal fast and good for intraday trading. Can i execute order fast on that. Also can i execute orders fast and successfully when heavy selling / buying is going on in the market. I have got IIFL trader terminal that sucks actually. It always fails to execute order at critical time giving error " Order too fast , Order rejected".

2) Do they provide exposure on stock holding also for intraday? This facility is good in IIFL.

Please share your experience on above queries. Will be very helpful for me.

Their terminal Diet Odin is slow in displaying quotes, the refresh rate is slow, it updates once in 4 or 5 seconds. Order execution is good. Sometimes it gives order xmitted error. The other day i shorted Tcs and wanted to cover but i was getting order xmitted error, i think it means order has not yet reached nse. I later ended up covering for a loss. It happens very rarely. Never faced this problem in AnandRathi. I've made a video comparing the speed of Diet Odin and Nest Trader Terminal, its on 4shared.com

Ashish - I agree to chetan their software is crap. Its no single window or hasslefree like IIFL, HDFC SEC. I have written a very strong (scorching) mail to Angel branch manager and in Mumbai on Thursday about how orders get cancelled inspite of having balances in account and how pathetic the customer service is. They seem very thick skinned like rhino no answer. Also the same sweet talking people like RM are no longer reachable over phone or are always busy in meeting. Avoid Angel at all cost. Low cost brokers with useless IT and untrained workforce highly pressurized to only get clients is a must avoid. This is one lesson I got in my experience with Angel.

I am almost made up my mind to remain with IIFL
I have asked Angel to give me delivery instruction booklet as in this fall I have accumulated lot of stocks. I will switch them to IIFL.
I think the TT3 is awesome and single window for all makes life easier. Also in IIFL stocks taken in delivery today is seen in the day end itself and you can jolly well sell them tomorrow. Also you do not have a separate backoffice software its all at one place one password for all.

It's nice to hear while there are people screaming about TT3 of IIFL....

KDhrubo,

Please dont go for IIFL's TT3. Please dont get fascinated with all not so required features at one place. The product is yet not stable and has lot of bugs. It's yet not been tested well in real market scenarios. Let it get stable first. Stick to their old trade terminal. That is good fast and reliable. TT3 is not reliable , your orders will not be placed in time, and rejected when you need them most. I and many of my friends have lost great amount of money because it fails to execute orders at critical time. It sucks actually. So, I and my many friends switched over to old TT.
As such , all other things are fine with IIFL. So far i am satisfied with everything except this new TT3. Please please please stay away with this for now. More features means more bugs and less stability also.

Thanks.

I suppose you are talking about their new terminal where you get all in one. Inthat case I fully agree with you . Its not tested at all. My main problem is when you load chart of any scrip and then try to load chart for another srcip ( without closing earlier chart) your terminal gets hang and you need to restart it. Also in chart column there are so many indicators shown but many indicators does not apply for that period . Like MACD doesnot apply for intraday chart but still it is shown
In alll I give -10 on the scale of 10. dont use it . old TT is far better
