Hello Josh1,

i think Futures symbols are not getting renamed , after selecting Rename = Futures , this is what i am getting at my end

BANKNIFTY-III, 20160317, 15661, 15749, 15326.5, 15433.95, 142361, 1866960,
[ this should ne -I]
BANKNIFTY16Apr, 20160317, 15794.7, 15817.85, 15414.45, 15510.55, 3744, 265830,
[ this should ne -II]
BANKNIFTY16May, 20160317, 15779, 15849.4, 15449.2, 15535.5, 193, 103170,
[ this should ne -III] ,

There is a screener software called "Stock screener lite". Previously we were able to update data, but from their website. Now a days their website is no longer exists.

From software's help file i got the below information.

But the header in ABCD is

<SYMBOL,DATE,OPEN,HIGH,LOW,CLOSE,VOLUME,OI>

Now my question is "Is it possible to edit the header in ABCD so that the data can also be downloaded for any other softwares".

No. Each source disburses data in different format. You will have to see output format of source and change for that in code. Also each charting app requires data in specific format.
ABCD outputs for Metastock and Amibroker as given by Getbhavcopy.

Hello Josh

As CNX nifty has changed itself to Nifty 50, I'm not able to download the previous data. So I changed the name in NSEIndex.txt file as "CNX Nifty,Nifty 50" after doing that all downloaded files showed the name as CNX Nifty instead of Nifty 50. Can you please help me with this issue .? I had attached the screen shots for reference
