if u can pls update as all can dnload uptu 3rd month if ur time favour for future scrips.

Speak for yourself. What is the benefit of downloading when there is no volume? Check against 'Preserve original file?' and see for yourself.

yesterday there were problem in other 2 free downloader(they stop downloading) but ur downloader worked perfectly.its an awesome design
but as per future data ,i am attaching one future data file which has third month expiry data for every scrip. dont know wheather it is correct.
if u can chek

You have not understood. ABCD does download data for all expiries from exchange. It is single file. There after it processes the data for making it fit to import into Amibroker/Metastock. During processing, it deletes scrips in which volume is zero(that is not trade took place) and creates new file. However, it is deleting original file after processing. Put a check mark against Preserve Original Files?. You will have original file in respective folder. Open the file and see for yourself. You will see all scrips for all expiries but trading volume zero in most. There will be thirty thousand lines. There is no point in keeping data for scrips which have not been traded for that day.
Anyway there is no liquidity for third month. If you want to buy, you will not get it and if you want to sell nobody will take it unless the price is exorbitantly high or low.

josh, I was using data downloader to fetch index data and now using abcd.
there are big differences in the nifty volumes shown by both utilities. abcd is much higher. how to equalize this?

ys it download. have to modify in indices text note pad or if u want all the indices then unchek selected beside indices

I really appreciate all the help you guys provide by developing these softwares.

However all the softwares which are available are having problems downloading data before 2016.

Specifically I am trying to download NSE EOD EQ data from 2011 Jan to 2013 Dec.

If it is going to be a problem to fix the software for the past data, I would appreciate if you or anyone else can share equity data for the said period.
