I am attempting to understand technical analysis. In the attached .jpg file, I have plot NIFTY, 4 EMA, 100 EMA and 200 EMA.

How do I judge if NIFTY is under priced? Should NIFTY curve be below all the three EMA curves?

Thank you for time and patience.

Open a demo account here http://www.gcitrading.com/mt-specifications.htm. Download MT-4 and install. You will get Nifty and Sensex technical charts (slightly delayed, 15-30 Seconds).Apart from that you will get Crude, Gold, Silver etc too.

After installing MT-4, click on "Market Watch", you will find the icon at top left corner.Once the market watch opens, put cursor on "Symbol", right click it, click on show all.You will find Sensex and Nifty. Now to open a chart, click on file=>New Chart=>Indexes=>BSE_Sensex/NSE_Nifty. Open whichever you want. You can open multiple chart in a single window. You can tile vertically horizontally as you like. For selecting time frame click on the chart and click M1,M5,M15......MN (i.e 1 min, 5 min, 15 min......month).Explore MT-4, to find its real beauty and that too TOTAL free of cost. You will understand you need no other LIVE charts to see Nifty/Sensex.Happy Trading !!:)

Dear Atanu,
Yours is a new method to get real time charts of Sense and Nifty.
So just to check it I installed MT-4 As per your instruction. But under Symbols => Major Indices => I don't see BSE_Sensex/NSE_Nifty.
I have all major indices except indian indices.

Could you help me how to get those?

Thanks/Regards,
Sgpal

Do not see those streaming quotes under the word "symbol".Put cursor on it (i.e on the word "symbol"), then right click and click on "show all".You will find them there. After that you can open charts too.The most interesting part is that, in any time frame (be it minutes/hrs/day/week/month), the chart type (bar/candle/line) forms live.I too experienced the same problem first of all.Have patience, you too will get it inevitably !!
