For irrefutable evidence of operator activity, observe the ticks near the close of a 5-minute and 30-minute bars. The price seems to be hitting against some sort of a wall until the bar complete, and the next second, there is a sudden move.

LIke for example, I was able to predict that 5700 would break exactly at 10:40. Those who have tick data will be able to confirm this.

Today's behavior seems to be different. I am seeing a lot of bounces of 5 minute extremes (instead of breakouts at 5 minute extremes).

Today's behavior seems to be different. I am seeing a lot of bounces of 5 minute extremes (instead of breakouts at 5 minute extremes).

Anyone else observing this?

things seems back to normal. Some key resistances broken immediately at end of 5 minutes, etc.

In the morning, I felt that the behavior was odd...
