Nifty Futures Profit for 22nd July 2010.

Camarilla Trading

H4 5423 Long breakout
H3 5413 GO SHORT
H2 5410
H1 5407

L1 5401
L2 5397
L3 5394 GO LONG
L4 5385 Short breakout

As per the above levels, buy triggered at L3(5394) at 12:10 pm.
Stoploss was L4(5385).

Our Targets are L2, L1, H1, H2,....

All our targets till H3(5413) are achieved.
After this our H4(5423) target is also achieved.
After this, we keep 0.5% target = 5450.115 also got achieved.

So total profit = 5450 - 5394 = 56 points.

Profit of 2500+ with one lot of Nifty.
Sir,
I would like to understand the Practical Trading using Camarilla Pivots.

L3 5394 Buy was Trigerred.

But L2 5397 can not be my Target as there will be Gain of only 3 Points, which I will have to Pay as Brokrage, Taxes etc

L1 5401 also can not be my Target as my gain at this Point will be 7 Points, out of this 3 Points go for the Brokrage, Taxes etc. and I am left with only 4 Points and my Stoploss is of 11 Points, this means my Risk is 3 and Reward is 1, not fair enough to Trade, with Success Ratio of 70%, Person will be a loser.

H1 is 5407 and if H1 is met we get 14 Points, then we will get 11 clear Points after deducting Brokrage,Taxes etc. With due respect to you Sir, if we put Trailing Stoploss, kindly check the Nifty Charts, how many times Trailing Stoploss will be Trigerred, you can find out.

H2 is 5410 and this is the only Point where you will get some Points, your Target is bigger than your Stoploss but Sir what Success Ratio we can expect when we Trade for H2, kindly clarify.

Sir, I am writting this all not to say that you are wrong, all I want to say is that there is a BIG difference between Treoritical Trading & Practical Trading, in Treoritical Trading we just share the levels and nothing is put at Stake where as in Practical Trading your Real Hard Earned Money is put at Stake and at the end of the day you are told by your Broker what exact you got or you lost.

Sir, I am ready to Pay any reasonable amount for a Statergy / Teahnique / Software which can give me Minimum 60% Success Ratio with Risk 1 and Reward 2 Ratio, BUT AMOUNT WILL BE PAID ONLY AFTER GETTING THE RESULTS IN THE PRACTICAL TRADING FOR A REASONABLE TIME, IN CASE THERE HAPPENS TO BE LOSS THEN THE PERSON SELLING THE STATERGY / TECHNIQUE / SOFTWARE WILL HAVE TO PAY ME THAT LOSS BECAUSE HE IS CHARGING ME SO HE SHOULD BE RESPONSIBLE FOR MY LOSS.

If you or any one have anything which I am searching, Kindly inform me.

Regards
Karan

risk factor is great in daytrading. enough paper trading before actual trading sud be done but if u r pretty new try with low volatile stock which have good volume. like untech suzlon etc or any other highly traded stock. place a strict stop loss. succes in daytrading or any trading is to minimise loss.
try first with this camerilla pivot or general pivot calculation.try to join any class before that .
also day trading means u can trade in either direction short and long.
do enogh home work before before jump intu the trade.
decide for a plan for entry and exit.

Sir, You have not suggested any Statergy or Technique to be used.
For Camarilla Pivots I had written the probelms when we do Practical Trading. Kindly suggest some Statergy / Technique which really works specially on Nifty & Bank Nifty

Dear SG
yesterday (1st Sep 2010) there was a gap up opening for NIFTY SEP Futures and it stayed that way till 10 am, now even though the open was 5420, which fell between H3 and H4 the camarilla range did not work well in the day (SL hit 2 times after going above H4 -long and after going below L4-short).
1. Should we consider the 1st hour H, L, C to calculate new camarilla levels for the day?
2. If so, the range becomes very tight and chances of more trade, small targets and sl
3. What if prices open gap up, retraces back just below yesterdays high and again moves up well above yesterday high (as happened today). How should we use camarilla or pivots in such cases?
4. what other suitable indicator can we use with camarilla to maximize chances of correct entry and exit
Camarilla for 1st September 2010
H5 5462.01
H4 5435.49
H3 5419.60
H2 5414.30
H1 5409.00
L1 5398.40
L2 5393.10
L3 5387.81
L4 5371.91
L5 5345.39
Hi Rajendrani,

When That Happens, Input The O, H, L, C Of 10.56 AM, You Will Have New Levels For The Day. You Can Get It From The Terminal Or NSE Or From Intraday Hourly Chart

Dear Seniors
I am very new to Camarilla and TA, could you please guide me on my rudimentary queries.
1. can camarilla be useful for weekly or monthly trading
2. what prices should one use for weekly and monthly camarilla pivots, meaning what price should be taken as OHLC for the week/month, is it the closing day prices?

thanking you in anticipation

One query. It is understood that if the opening price is between H3 and L3, we must buy at L3.

However, for the sake of illustration, consider that the price of the script does not fall to L3 (after opening in between H3 and L3), but it keeps on rising. What must one do under such circumstances?
