Backtesting and trading camarilla pivots

Hi,

First of all great going, I am getting a little bit different levels like today H3 for me came at 6060 and H2 6053 so just for consistency basis would it be possible for you to put all levels in the morning just to match with you.

i trade in mininifty as i can keep booking profits..so those r mininifty levels..h3 6060 correct for nifty futures

v r short on mininifty futures at 6051..trgt is l3 6018..stoploss is h4 6078

bk full at l3 6018..next short below l4 5997..profit of 29 points after deducting brokerage

one more thing, all the levels are yesterday's High, Low and Close...just these three, am i right or we take anything else into account.

absolutely correct..do lot of paper trading b4 entering actual trade..its very simple..certail rules u have to follow..dont blindly trade btween levels..for ex-dont initiate any trade between h3 and h4 same l3 and l4 lelvels..start trailing stoplosses only after it has crossed opposite zones..means if u r short at h3..traiing stop to cost h3 only when price has entered to l1 levels..same if u r long at l3 trailing stop to cost l3 only after it has entered h1 lelvel

as it has made high of 6033 after v r long v trail our stop to 6018 which was triggered ..disappointing end ot the day..v lost 12 points in this trade..so profit of 29-12=17 points today

still not clear whether v can trade above h3 or below l3 levels..today if v would hv long above h3 6059 our stoploss 6052 uld hv triggered..sameway v avoided short bleow l36017..end of day it eneded in day low of 6008..uld hv given 6 points profit..helped us to recover our stoplos partially which was triggered when v went long above l2..nowher its mentioned about trading between 3rd and 4th levels..its upto v indidvidual traders whether to take this risk or not

today nifty futures l3 was 5996.40..v r still not long on it bcoz it jus made low of 5997.10..once it touches or penetrates below it and then bounces back to l2 v ul go long..so still no entry
