Basic fundas of all cos in 1 excel sheet

First open the NSEFanda file and save it in your your folder say Mydocuments. Then when you go to import ANCII>fanda in file of type select the file name from Mydocument>NSEfanda08082008 by doubleclick

First create a format file through amibroker. even awrong format file is ok but u need to save that sttings as mentioned in my earlier post. after creating the format file open it through note pad and reaplce all of its contents.

I think u created format file through notepad. If thats the case then its wrong.

You have gone to file>open. Don't do this

Goto File>import ASCII and then the rest.

Open yr database.

Now from file/import ascii select the nse fundafile .

file= nsefundafile0808
files of type= funda (format)

now try it assuming u hv replaced the contents of format file.

my guess was right u hv not created a format file from amibroker

u hv created a funda file through notepad and placed it in there.

first use Importwizard and create the Fanda format file and then open it through note pad and reaplce all of its contents

thank u friends...... i created a funda format file....columns i selected are

TICKER, SKIP,O,H,L,C,SKIP,SKIP,VOL,SKIP,Date......

once FUNDA file is created i copy pasted the material by opening it in Notepad....

then i go to Import ASCII and SELECTED NSEBHAV... which i just downloaded from this forum... then i double clicked on it... and a message pop-up... showing 968 errors....


i am using this on NSE DAta


although i destroyed ur evening Kenneth.... but i still need help.
