u may be using wrong file to import. fundas080808 is not thefile to import.
nsefundabhav0808 is the file to import.

fundas080808 file is the raw excel file from which a csv file is created. so this file cant be imoported as its columns r not arrangedfor import.

secondly u might have copied the funda format retype the line in the format file (dont copy paste)

retype this line in in your funda fiile and try.

$FORMAT Ticker, FULLNAME, SHARES_SHORT, ALIAS, SHARES_OUT, BOOK_VALUE_PER_SHARE, DIVIDEND, FREE_CASH_FLOW, EPS, OPERATING_MARGIN, EPS_EST_CUR_YEAR,QTRLY_EARNINGS_GROWTH,RETURN_ON_ASSETS

Dear Chintan & tanewbie,

Areva T&D - Actually the ticker is blank in the quoted file, manually add AREVAT&D in the relevant column.

JIK Inds. - Actually the ticker is blank in the quoted file, manually add JIK in the relevant column.

Nucent Estates - Actually the ticker is blank in the quoted file, manually add NUCENT in the relevant column.

These tickers are some of the changed tickers of NSE (maybe that's why the discrepancy arose!)
