MOST ACTIVE futures(July 2010) for MARUTI closed at 1196.40 (Rs. 4.95 PREMIUM) with a turnover of Rs. 804.97 Crores.
Adds 551750 shares(24.06%) in open interest pushing the open interest to 2844750 shares.

How should I translate the above statement with today's CMP of 1207.50?

Hi,
Can anybody suggest a good charting software for technical analysis that support live 5 min candlestick charts for BSE stocks?
Amibroker is the most popular due to quick loading compared to metastock. Also it has the valuable exploration facility.

When futures trade at a premium it indicates that the sentiment of market participants on MAruthi is bullish.Open interest goes up when market participants still hold open position. Open interest includes both those long and short in the stock but there is no double counting.

hi,
I have recently started trading. Now I am trying day trading.
Could u please tell that is there any free software which can provide real time intraday charts with important technical indicators with the facility to draw trend lines etc.....
Though I am using Google finance charts but it has some limitations because it has only minimum 2 minutes intraday candle stick charts so my entries are most of the time delayed.
I have searched a lot on internet but have not found anything yet.
Please tell me how can i find a good charting software for NSE scrips.

Thanks in advance.

Hello friends,

I find that a lot of discussion happening in these forums are very advanced. I think there will be lot of you who are not into so much high end technical analysis.

I would like to take up the queries from all people who have basic queries about share market, nse, bse, demat accounts, brokers, mutual funds, fundamental analysis, technical analysis extra.

I have received lot of help from other experienced investors from the internet. So I think I should do at least a little bit from my side.

Best thing is to open an Indiabulls account. It has no annual charges and also there is an ongoing offer where PIB fee of 750 is waived off.So just go for it. It has free technical indicators in fact the best software trading terminal among the offerings that broker provide to us.
