hi all

it is a good thread for members who are doing intraday trading. i have my account in icici but to get the real time quote i have to refresh every time.

my second problem is that i am working in office and doing my intraday from my offce so i can not load any broker's software in my office pc.

so members may please suggest any online broker where i can trade without their software and also they provide realtime chart.

hey ajshare108,
let me suggest you...if you are working on intraday then dont ever go for icicidirect...as it is web based client and sometmes becomes slow as hell...so u can get reall losses if the site undergoes prblem in their system like huge traffic. if you cant load the trader terminal then try for geojit account linked with you current account. but if you want more reliability from geojit then have one axis_geojit 3 in one saving account. it is webbased trading terminal which is fast and reliable...

Ajax, where did you get the news that PIB and IB are same?
PIB is the name of trading terminal from indiabulls, Power India Bulls. Where as Interactive Brokers(IB) are international brokers with whom in just one margin, you can trade which ever market you feel like, say u can trade in US, Europe, etc.... but you need to be a Real bigggg HNI with more than 100000 USD as margin and minimum brokerage per month should be nearly 2k USD
Naga, he said IB stands for IndiaBulls. Now it also means Int Bro.

demo is provided online on the geojit site...but if you call the customer care for account opening...they willl come and give you the demo of the product. yes they give you the real time charts. u can create your own watchlist

i certainly dont agree with the polls which say religare is the no.2 broker for intraday trading. its certainly the worst along with reliance money. I opened a 15000 advance brok account for day trading and i've suffered like anything.

no limits, trading only till 3.00, restriction on stocks to trade intraday. So I would request all the members not to be mislead by polls. And i assure you that i am not connected to any broking house.I am a independent chartered accountant and a full time trader. My only intention is that we must not rewards broking houses for their wrong doings. We as traders are the most imp source of income for them and we must be served well.
It is shocking to hear that Intra day trades cannot be done after 3.05 even after paying 15,000  Thanks for the information.

out of curiosity
That 15,000 refundable after subtracting the brokerages used? Or non refundable?
