Will try with double the quantity on monday.. One question is .. for monday's trade , the profit target wud be 0.5% or 0.8% (enhanced target) ?

Hi Sunil,

Thanks for the quick reply. Yes, I will change the orders when there is a new high or low.

Can you confirm the orders are right, i.e only 4 orders required?

S humble. Place 4 orders ie stop loss buy order then normal sell order at 0.5 % profit order. Then place stop loss sell order then normal buy order at 0.5% profit for the sell order. Whichever direction your order materialised, cancel the opposite side orders and put stop loss order (ie 1%) for your current trade. Hope u understand.

Wish you all a happy week end.

at first, only 2 orders are required....
one for buy side & second for sell side...

if anyone of them gets triggered, cancel the second order, so u have no pending order left in system.
Sunil..sometimes after the execution of our trade, it is hitting the target price also at the same speed and going down from that level immediately afterwards . Last week I traded Divi's lab, I didn't place the target sell order initially, it hit the target price and came down. So I booked loss only. So it is better to place the target order together.

that's why i said...
it depends on your convenience...
also depends on your broker-provided trading terminal... it should have this feature of accepting multiple orders in two directions

5paisa calculates margin money for all orders including stoploss. so i cant place so many orders at a time. normally i wait to see the direction and whenever it comes close to the order price, then i place order and target order. most of times target is hit in same speed (for stocks).

i have seen nifty is easy to handle. we get some breathing space between target and stoplosses. also i am seeing nifty is giving better results than individual stocks

Hi Guys,
I am newbie to this forum and also to the Share Market. I have been closely following the market for the last 3-4 months. I have a trading account with Sharekhan. I was initially fascinated with the Day-Trading and I did make some profit[probably because of the beginners luck.]. After that, I have incurred quite a few series of losses :(.

When I browsing for strategies on the net I stumbled upon this thread :D. Thanks to Dhiraj, and Sunil all their efforts :). I am currently practicing this method using paper trading. I will start using this method when I fully understand the method and get confidence in making all those quick decisions :).

I have a few doubts, which I request the members to clarify.

Today for RelCapital following is the data:
Yesterday - H:378.3 L:363.1 Diff:15.20
1f:6.59
2f:11.65
3f:20.60

At 10.15 - H:377.00 L:371.20 Diff:5.80
Applicable Factor - 1f:6.59
Orders:
Buy[Limit Order]: 377.79
Stop Loss Trigger Price for buy:374.01
Sell[Limit Order]: 379.68

ShortSell[Limit Order]: 370.41
Stop Loss Trigger Price for ShortSell: 374.11
Buy[Limit Order]: 366.71

Can anyone please confirm these are the right orders i.e 4 orders in total? After a lot of confusion related to Stop loss, I hope to have understood it. Please help.

-Sri
