hi Sarfarazd,
i was feeling quite depressed because of the losses i had, almost 90% of my capital is lost, now i've kicked day trading and am doing swing trading, and btst, it suits me fine and i also make moderate profits. i hope to recover at least 50% of my capital within this year without putting in anymore money.

Sorry for delay reply ......I am heavily travelling from past one 2 weeks as year end is nearing.....i have also sold all my bharti today @ 790 and dabur 275 dabur at 94.35.....holding only HLL 170 nos
Now all my cash back with me and will start trading after year end (31st March)
I have made decent profit in bharti and dabur ......i know it is not trading but investing, being a novice still i suggest to do some investing along with your trading so you can average when required.....without getting big bang....
I am closely watching Prism cement ...Tata tele ..India cement...
Please let me know if you are also watching any of these stock.

i know that most of us do get busy with our personal or professional lives these days so its ok. thanks for your good advice, even i don't think trading is better than investing but as a novice im afraid of holding a stock for more than a week after seeing what happened to sugar stocks since last year may, however i know that investing has less hassle and is the best way to make money in stock market. i'll try to stick for longer with my stocks, i know that over 90% of times its most beneficial. and i've not been watching any of your mentioned stocks but i've been watching bharti airtel almost everyday, and am waiting for it to come down to a low of 720-745 again so i could buy it without much worring, i feel its one of the best and most reliable stocks right now, and its really nice that you are making profits and not losses..

i know both the stocks are not performing very well, but i'll have to stick to them for a while until i make some profit, also on monday the market is expected to fall for a while because of india losing to sri lanka in cricket, but as im not a cricket fan so it doesn't bother me a bit and i see this as a very good opportunity for picking any good stock for short term.
