Sorry, I cud not still get- "check the top shares in elss category" at AMFI site. I do not think AMFI shows "top shares" in any other ELSS too. If so, provide the link.

Growth is the option is for the people who have long term financial goals and they don't need money regularly. In this option mutual funds will keep on growing and it will never declare dividends. so overall at the end of the investment term you get larger kitty.
