Bloodbath in the market

Re: Bloodbath on the market

Krishna,
I agree with you on the problems but i feel differently on the end result. A recession according to me need not be negative GDP growth. Sluggish growth for either India and China will make the economies feel like they are in a recession.

Best Regards,
:)

Guys - Let's be optimistic here ... Obvisously the growth story of the companies we have invested in has not gone away in a week ... Its still intact. Its just plain simple panic selling from small time investors that's causing the market to see red...

At this moment, the best strategy would be to wait and watch... At least we expect a high level before budget.

The market condition we are seeing here is due to variety of reasons - liquidity, weak global cues, panic selling, market rumours, et al...

Have a look at the FII figures....

The small trader has to sell since he cannot meet the margin calls not because his outlook has changed.

It is interesting to see the pastures with different perceptions, no need to worry about minor correction(s). Long term is still bright n SHINY. All you guys need to do is that figuring out what fruit need to be picked and at what stage?

Happy Punting

I am sure the FM must have called up the MF and Insurance cos and ask them to buy now ... See a big green once the market opens.

Re: Bloodbath on the market

I think the market is going to hit the 15% circuit. The number of people who have lost huge sums in FnO is going to be huge and all of them are going to be FORCED to sell. There is no way anyone could have been spared with stocks like RIL falling 15% there is no way anyone has the capacity to hold on. Mutual Funds, insurance companies can buy but they can't absorb all the selling that is going to come.
